Gabriella Collier

ARTIST STATEMENT

I am inspired by the feeling of open spaces, big skies and the experience of  a natural setting. Beginning with on site sketches, I play with the elements of texture, line, abstraction and design, to create my impressions of these environments in my studio.

BIO

Born and raised in Toronto, Gabriella Collier graduated from the Illustration program at Sheridan College where she studied Art Fundamentals and later specialized in Illustration. Upon graduation, she worked in a number of leading commercial studios in Toronto where she created illustration and design work.  She now paints in her home studio creating landscapes using acrylic. Her work is held in both private and public collections.
