Peter Fischer

 

Peter Fischer has been painting and drawing for about 40 years. With fine arts training at Humber College, the Mississauga arts centre and workshops at Dundas valley school of art, along with a career in photoretouching and illustration, the move to pursuing a career in art was a natural progression.

 I  endeavor to create works which are essentially representational and sometimes through composition and other means invoke an abstract or modern impression. My attention to or interest in a subject is often caught by details, patterns and accidentally repeated shapes. Happily my works, do more often than not, give the viewer a sense of serenity and calm.
