Patrick Lajoie

Through his photographic work Patrick seeks to explore themes of colour and light as well as the emotions sparked by nostalgia and remembrance. Known for his image transfer works on wood panel Patrick’s images are infused with a warmth in both hue and texture, created by the golden cast of the wood as well as the delicate woodgrain apparent beneath paler areas of pigment.

Patrick studied fine art at OCAD. His photographic works are held in private collections across Canada and the United States. He currently lives and works in Caledon, Ontario.
