Amanda Christina

Amanda’s work centers around the theme of light: the kind of light that moves and dances and elicits joy within the viewer.  By working with soft abstract shapes, Amanda gives the suggestion of a blurred-out, dreamlike landscape. Inspired mainly by Northern Ontario, Amanda strives to create the feeling one gets when sunlight pours through the trees, across the lake, and warms both body & soul. Amanda’s medium of choice is oil, for its ability to create soft ethereal skies, contrasted with buttery opaque strokes.

Living and working out of Stratford, Ontario, Amanda enjoys continual inspiration from both the rich rural landscape, and the vibrant arts community.    Her work resides in homes and collections throughout North America & Europe.
