Giulia Morosin graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University. She opened her first studio in 2000 offering art instruction to students of all ages. As an avid walker and hiker, her love of the Canadian landscape provides the inspiration needed to create bold and bright acrylic paintings. Finding shapes and layers of colour within the landscape are what bring these paintings to life. The ever changing Canadian seasons allow for experimentation in movement and expression while capturing the beauty of the land.
Giulia has had the opportunity to visit many schools in the Peel, Halton and York School Boards teaching workshops and painting over 30 murals to brighten up school hallways, libraries, gymnasiums, etc.
