I am a 68-year-old visionary with an engineering degree and an intrinsic drive for crafting masterpieces. In late 2004, I chose to refine my skills and pursue a full-time career as a fine artist. surprisingly, my enthusiasm for art was kickstarted during a seminar on how to operate a consulting business, once asked when we were going to embrace our individual dreams – “If not now, when?”
Primarily self-taught, I’ve found learning through my own experiences leads to better discoveries. My landscape paintings capture the feeling and energy of being outdoors, through a variety of mediums ranging from canvas and aluminum to live edge wood. Strong compositions complemented by texture, bold colours, large shadows, and energetic brushstrokes invite the viewer to feel themselves immersed and alive within the painting.
